'Service is Salvation' - Artica Empire Print
"SERVICE IS SALVATION. THOSE WHO SERVE ARE REMEMBERED."
This proclamation was issued by the Imperial Legions of the Artica Empire during the 11th Age - a call to enlistment, a promise of immortality through obedience. Rows of faceless knights stand in perfect formation within a vast cathedral-fortress, their gauntleted hands resting upon their blades, their identities erased beneath helms of weathered steel. The light at the end of the hall promises something - salvation, perhaps, or simply another war.
The original was created by the Ministry of Descent using the now-lost Chromatic Process, an alchemical technique that fixed vivid pigments so deeply into parchment that they would not fade even after centuries. When the Empire fell during the Scouring of the 12th Age, most proclamations were destroyed. This reproduction is faithfully restored from surviving fragments.
The imagery remains as striking, and as unsettling, as the day it was first printed. It serves as a reminder of what happens when artistry serves ideology, and how even the mightiest empires eventually fall.
Printed on heavy satin paper with a low-glare finish, the dark, dramatic artwork takes on a rich, museum-like presence. Every helmet, every torch, every weathered border reads clearly from any angle. Hang it in thy game room, den, or streaming sanctum and let it stand as a cinematic rallying cry - or a grim warning.
